The Clausthal Environmental Technology Research Centre (CUTEC) at Clausthal University of Technology has a vacancy for a

research assistant (m/f/d)
(pay group 13 TV-L)

to work on the joint project funded by the MWK Niedersachsen within the framework of the Niedersächsische Vorab

"H2-Wegweiser Niedersachsen - Energy system analysis for the technical, economic and social integration, storage and conversion of hydrogen in Lower Saxony"

to be filled with 100 % of regular working hours. The position is initially limited to 30.04.2021 on a project-related basis. An extension for a further 3 years with the possibility of a doctorate can be envisaged.

The "H2-Wegweiser Niedersachsen" project will use a transdisciplinary approach to investigate how a hydrogen-based energy system can be designed in Lower Saxony. The focus is on the underground storage of hydrogen in cavern and pore storage facilities as well as on conversion processes for the production of chemical energy sources.
