CFD simulation of kinetic measurements on single particles in a Berty reactor

As part of the simulative master's thesis, an existing CFD model of the Berty reactor is to be extended by an existing model for mass transport in porous solids. The extended CFD model will then be used to simulate kinetic measurements on individual particles in the Berty reactor under characteristic reaction conditions (p, T, c) in order to investigate temperature and concentration curves in the reactor and in the particle. The simulation results will be used to draw conclusions about kinetic measurements on individual particles and to make recommendations.
