Innovative Electrode Engineering: Prof. John Linkhorst Presents Advances in 3D-Printed Electrochemical Systems

We extend our thanks to Prof. Dr.-Ing. John Linkhorst, Head of Process Engineering of Electrochemical Systems at TU Darmstadt, for his inspiring presentation on electrode design, transport phenomena, and advanced manufacturing in electrochemical technologies.

During his talk at ICVT (EST, Technische Universität Clausthal) in Goslar, titled “Supporting the catalyst – engineering electrodes for enhanced transport,” he demonstrated how 3D-printed electrode architectures can significantly enhance performance and efficiency in electrochemical systems. He also showcased innovative 3D-printed electrodes featuring novel and complex structural designs.
