Success at the Annual Meeting on Reaction Engineering in Würzburg

Award-Winning Research: Our PhD student honored on May 28, 2025, at the Annual Meeting on Reaction Engineering in Würzburg

We are pleased to share that our institute actively participated in the Annual Meeting on Reaction Engineering (Jahrestreffen Reaktionstechnik) this week in Würzburg.

We are especially proud to announce that our PhD student, Lydia Weseler, received the Young Talent Award from the Early Career Reaction Engineers (NaWuReT) for her outstanding presentation entitled:
“How the Choice of Ionomer and Silver Catalyst Affects the Performance of Membrane Electrode Assemblies for Electrochemical CO₂ Reduction.”

This award, sponsored by Ehrfeld Mikrotechnik GmbH, highlights her excellent work and the support of her supervisor, Prof. Thomas Turek.

We warmly congratulate her and thank DECHEMA for organizing this fantastic event, which offered great opportunities for scientific exchange and networking with colleagues, former students, and researchers from around the world.

👏 Congratulations on this remarkable achievement!
